Rodeo Queen

Rodeo Queen in the making. Paizley loves horses so I decided to let her ride in the Little Britches Rodeo in Minersville. She loved it. She still talks about it.

Dad wouldn't take Paiz so I had to. This Picture was taken just a little to early, she saw her dad and grandma and started waving. The crowd loved it.

This is Paizleys friend Carly. She also did an awesome job as well.

This is the two of them practicing for their big race. I have a picture of Tiffany and I that looks just like this one. It was in the newspaper and it said "Future Rodeo Queens" Maybe one day these two will also be rodeo queens.

Another fun event to pass the time was chasing chickens. Paiz loved it from a distance but when the chicken actually came in catching distance she ran the other way. It was a fun day and Paiz still talks about it. Mom and Dad are so proud of their little cowgirl.

Swimming Lessons and Cousins.

Swimming Lesson! I had Maeci and Maggie for a couple of days so I decided to enroll all three in swimming lessons. One out of the three liked it. This is Maeci being dunked. I would say after the first day they all knew what was coming and they weren't to excited. Maggie on the other had was all about the water. She loved it. I do have to say Paizley will now swim in the bath tub and blow bubbles so we did learn something.

Paizley had to have the bink that was the only way I could keep her in the pool.

Oh Paiz just loved those swimming lessons.

Now here is an old Pro, Maggie was so fun to have as a house guest.

Again Paizley loved everything they did with her can't you tell. At least one thing they all loved was the treats at the end of each lesson. Good way to keep them coming back by ending on a good note.

Seattle

Our Family went to Seattle this year to visit with Russell's sister Lori and her family. We had so much fun. We went to the Space Needle, the Aquarium, Duck Ride, Pikes Place Market, and rode the ferry. We were there for a short amount of time, I wish we could have stayed longer but it was really fun.

We ate at the Ski City Cafe, It was excellent food. It took us about 1:15 min to eat and we went around about twice.

Dad and Paizley on the Ferry. Look behind dad close and you can see some Pirate ships.

Seattle in the back drop. Paiz also enjoying a pop that little stinker and Pepsi.

Paizley loved the Aquarium. It was fun so see all the fish and sea creatures.

Kissing the fish.

Pikes Street Fish Market and the flying Mackerel. There was so many people in that place and Paiz was in need of a nap but we still had tons of fun. We also eat crepes at this Italian crepe place, they were so good oh the peach one and the basil with tomato was to die for.

Russ and Spens 30th birthday

July 8, 1980. This was the year for the big 3 0. Being such a big birthday we had a big birthday bash for Russ and Spen. The whole family (except Lori's family) was able to make the trip up to the Beaver Mt. We spent the night in my Uncle Bruce's cabin. It was so much fun. Everyone had a great time. Thanks everyone for coming and making the birthday such a great success.

There was a picture of the boys when they were about two sitting in front of their cake. Its one of the pictures on our wedding video. I tried to find it but couldn't. I recreated that same cake. I also made the boys sit on the same side. One day ill find that picture and have them side by side.

Grandpa Stevens brought up his canoe and everyone got a ride. Its was tons of fun.

La La and Brad just chilling at the cabin.

Paiz loves to fish, well she loves to take your pole so you can't fish almost the same thing. She is getting so big and so cute these days.

Fun on the Farm

Paiz loves animals. When we went up to Provo we went to the Farm/petting zoo at Thanksgiving point with Wade, Sarah, Claire and Holden. We had tons of fun and Paizley loved riding the horses. Paiz really loved being with her cousins and being around animals. What a perfect day!!

The horse wasn't going fast enough so she was kicking. What a funny little girl.

Let us out of here!!!

Getting ready for the rodeo and the real sheep ride. Practice makes perfect right.

HAPPY EASTER

I'm sorry but these pictures are backwards so we start on Easter day and work our way backwards thought all the Easter Fun. This is Uncle Brad swinging with Paizley, she will go with anyone as long as they are going OUTSIDE. I think she would live outside if we would let her. Crazy Kid!

We had the worlds best Easter Egg Hunt and Nana's. Okay Okay I'm the one who hid all the eggs, so maybe that is why it was the worlds best. You should have been there it was fabulous. I got gold dollars and a two dollar bill for the hunt along with lots of candy filled eggs. Everyone of the kids got a gold dollar but they had to find them. There was only one two dollar egg. Max was the winner, let me tell you he had to work for it I did a awesome job hiding those eggs. I actually forgot where I hid two of them. These are the three Easter Egg hunters. Paizley sure likes to be around her cousins.

Easter egg dying was on Saturday after Beck and Max got to town. I let Paizley give dying a chance until she just had to do it by herself, so I gave her a cup of water and let her go to town. She was happy with the water and I was happy with the easy clean up. Beck, Max and I had fun doing tie-die, and gold and silver eggs. It was lots of fun!

Our second Easter egg hunt was the 2nd annual Holden Easter Egg Hunt. This hunt was awesome, Paiz made out like a bandit. She got cute glasses and a duck along with a handful of candy. There was also a small improvement on Paizley's hunting abilities. Good thing we had some practice before the big show. Paizley had tons of fun with Nana and Bompa.

We started our Easter out in a snow storm. Paizleys first Easter Egg hunt was indoors because of a foot of snow. The little kids were in the hall and bent around to the lunchroom. Paiz didn't care where it was just as long as she got some candy. She really only wanted one piece of candy after that she was fine to just not pick up anymore, but thanks to Grandma we got a few extra.
